Not too long ago I went on a search for a new foundation. I had tried so many already from different brands and I had found a few that were ok but none that gave me the coverage that I really wanted and needed. For the most part I had stayed pretty cheap when buying stuff to try out so I wasn’t really surprised that I had only found mediocre products but I didn’t want to spend big bucks and end up not liking what I got or having it be the wrong shade which already happened all the time with the cheap stuff I was buying. Then I had a big event coming up that I was getting all dolled up for and knew that my current makeup wasn’t going to cut it so reached out to a friend who was a consultant to see about getting some new stuff. The great thing about it was that I was able to try it before I bought it and got a little mini makeover in the process and who doesn’t love a makeover!
Mary Kay Timewise Matte-Wear Liquid Foundation: This is hands down the best foundation I have ever used. I get complete coverage and it doesn’t make my face break out which I had a huge problem with before anytime I would use any kind of foundation. It doesn’t look caked on and still covers any imperfections and redness. I bought this foundation for $22 and you can find it here. Honestly its the best $22 I have ever spent. It’s not really bad so far as higher end foundations go either on price which I was happy about but is such a great and quality product it feels like I am using a $50 foundation.
Mary Kay Foundation Primer: So before I bought this I was in love with Smashbox primer and that is really all I used. This primer literally had everything I loved about the Smashbox and even more which I didn’t know was possible. It only takes a tiny bit to cover my whole face and goes on so smooth and leaves my skin feeling soft. I didn’t feel oily at all which was something I always worry about with primers and it creates the perfect base for your foundation to go on for a flawless look. I paid $18 for the primer and with how little it takes this stuff will last forever. You can check it out here.
Mary Kay Concealer: I had never really bothered with getting a concealer before mainly because I just wasn’t really sure what to do with it or why I would need one when I had foundation. As I learned more about makeup though I decided to get this for when I had excessive redness and blemishes that sometimes like to peek through my foundation a little bit. This stuff is such a life saver and covers anything I need it to so well. It only takes a small amount too so this stuff will last forever since a little goes a long way. This was $12 and totally worth the price! You can find it here.
I always love it when I can find great products that help to give me a boost of confidence when I am having a bad skin day. Finding products that dont break me out is always a plus too since most seem to clog my pores and cause my face to go nuclear on me. If you dont already have a consultant and want to check out what Mary Kay is all about head here. Another great thing about Mary Kay is that you get a personal consultant that is able to help you with any questions you might have and to find the right product to fit your needs.
